I have so much to blog about today, so I shall split it into a few paragraphs. Hope it makes my post clearer and not building any mazes.
Event #1 – @ the library: The Hardworking Me

I didn’t manage to talk about it in my previous post as I was busy with too many times. Last Friday, I made a dumb tour to the libraries. First, I was back from work and I alighted at Sembawang MRT station to visit the library there as it was more convenient (since the library is in the shopping centre). So I returned the two books that I borrowed previously. Not wanting to waste the trip, I browse around and saw quite a few interesting books. I ended up getting two books for dummies – Blogging for Dummies and Upgrading & Fixing PCs for Dummies. That was my first trip of the evening to the library. A while later, I realised that I got two outstanding books that I ordered online. Hence, I got to go to Woodlands Regional library (two stops away) to collect the two books. As such, I ended up with four thick books to read for the next three weeks. Now, thankfully I managed to clear three books, left with Upgrading & Fixing PCs for Dummies.
Reading is a good way to pass time. It keeps you occupied, it keeps you entertained.
Event #2 – OJT1 training: END
I’ve officially ended the first phase of my training as a service medic, doing relatively well in the overall assessment, thanks to the practical that got me a good grade. Now, I got posted to one of the busiest stations (just what I wanted). That means more work and less free time. I was happy that I got posted there, the people portrayed great team spirit and made the place fun. On top of that, the station is busy! Just what I wanted to keep myself occupied. On Monday I will be starting the phase 2 of my training, learning to master everything at the stations as well as to work independently with professional ethics.
Stepping into the working world. Lots of things to learn, lots of things to take note of.
Event 3 – My hair: OMG
After an extremely tiring gruelling day at work, I went for a haircut. I can’t believe my eyes, my hair is seriously OMG now. The moment the hairdresser starts, she took out the shaver and shave off the side of my hair. -.- For your information, I don’t have to go botak. Buzz, this is the first time I got super sick of my hair. It looks weird and not proportionate. I don’t know how else to describe. Well, the tip of all time: choose an experienced hairdresser if you have high expectation for your hair. Or else be prepared to get a shock with your new hair look.
Another irreversible action. Lost for words to say.
Event 4: P&C: the right course
Over the past few weeks, I have been rather enthusiastic about taking up a night course. I have filtered out quite a few, namely, Computer Repair & Maintenance, Nursing, and driving. I have already booked my Basic Theory Test for driving in mid-February. After which, I shall start with the practical if I passed that basic test. For Nursing and Computer Repair & Maintenance, I’m still pondering which one I should take up first. No answer for now, more opinions needed.
Making myself more and more busy, hope my body can take it.
