About The Author

Q. Since the very early days of blogging, you’ve had a blog. How has ‘what blogging is?’ changed for you?

A. I’ve been typing for the public since mid-2007 through the free blogging software, Blogger. However, it didn’t take long before I bang my head against the wall and migrated to Wordpress. That ended the torture on my brains and gradually healed the cracks on my head. Phew!

Aim and Hit!

In the past, a blog is an alternative form of a personal diary that people used to keep in their drawers. Over time, it has become one of the most powerful tools found in the cyberspace today. Most people, including big companies now owns a blog, either for personal or business related purposes.

For me, blogging has indeed shifted in such a direction and I have diverted my attention to more than just ranting posts of no substance. Browse through my weblog and check out some of the greatest articles that I’ve wrote.

Q. As a hybrid blogger, what catches your eye?

FTM Hybrid

A. As the name suggests, anything that is a mixture jolts my mind. I enjoy reading articles that have a direct impact on us. For instance, I find it meaningful to read on the facts and myths relating to food products that we consume daily. It also raises my awareness to read about current affairs such as the recent research that shows the increased life expectancy of Singaporeans.

Q. How does hybrid blogging fit in with your life now? How does blogging in general fit in?

A. In life, it takes great effort to improve my language ability. Through blogging, it pulls me out of the well and motivates me to read up more often in order to find interesting topics to blog about. Blogging in general keeps my blog interactive and less rigid, making it a relaxed environment for my family, friends as well as strangers.

Q. You’re a busy man. How do you find time to blog and things to blog about?

Mr Busy PZL

A. Though it’s somehow proven that guys can’t multi-task, don’t put my name in that list okay! I’m a 100% guy that has mastered the art of multi-tasking and that has certainly helped me to save time. In such a way, it gave me more more allowance to do my work. An example of a typical habit of mine will be to sit right before my computer watching the news while working and eating my meals at the same time. Not bad right?

In addition to that, having a timetable helps to keep me organised and disciplined so that all my work can be done in a systematic way without having too much to worry about.

Target Audiences

Q. Are you blogging for the general public or for specific audiences?

A. By nature, I’m a friendly person and thus this makes my weblog a sociable and interactive one. At Feel The Momentum, I warmly welcome everyone to read and stay updated with interesting occurrences around us. Don’t forget to leave a comment too. But no spam please!

Q. For people doing personal (as opposed to business/political/product) blogs, do you have any advice based on your blogging experience?

A. The golden rule: Do NOT write anything that you don’t want your grandmother or boss to see! You won’t want to get into any trouble over something that you wrote over the internet. Always think twice before you start pressing the keys on your keyboard.

Q. Is your blog a major or minor way of connecting with people?

A. Feel The Momentum is without a doubt a major way of connecting with people. Living in a modern world, we are all connected via the internet. Owning a blog is just like having a spy cam in your house. With a click of the mouse, everyone gets updated about your life. With a second click on Twitter, everyone now know what you ate for lunch!
